DR GLENN ARMSTRONG BVSc, Clinic Owner
Glenn has been the practice owner since taking over from Bryan Gartrell in 2001. Originally from Sydney, Glenn moved to New Zealand after meeting his Kiwi wife Katie while working in the UK. Glenn has two children, Luke and Chloe, and an Australian Shepherd called Levi who hangs out at work. As well as being the main consulting vet, Glenn also has a particular interest in orthorpaedic surgery. In his spare time Glenn is a keen competitive sailor.









DR SALLY CORY BVSc
Sally graduated from Edinburgh University in 1996. She worked in the Cotswalds in the UK for 2 years,mainly with horses. Sally came to NZ in 1999 and started working at KVC. Sally is married and has three children; India, Lila and Thea as well as her dog Stig who is a Border Terrier. Outside of work she enjoys running, tennis and skiing. Sally's professional interests are in internal medicine and soft tissue surgery.










DR MADELEINE WALLACE BVSc
Maddy graduated from Massey in 1998. She worked in the UK for 18 months in a small animal practice before coming back to NZ and joining KVC in 2002. She has a Jack Russell called Alfie, two cats Max and George as well as several horses. Outside of work Maddy enjoys farming, walking, ballet, yoga, baking, gourmet food, breeding and training race horses and dog obedience. Maddy's professional interests are ears and skin, feline medicine and preventative medicine.








DR SALLY MITCHELL BVSc
Sally graduated from Massey in 1988 and worked in Wellington for two years before moving to work in the UK with her husband Pete who is also a vet. In 2001 they returned to NZ and joined KVC in 2005. Pete and Sally have two children, Erina and Lauren. Their animals are Max the Lab, Sam the Smithfield, Baboon the cat, Freedom the guinea pig as well as number of horses and sheep. Outside of work Sally enjoys horseriding, skiing, tramping, reading, films and theatre.







DR Hania Klobukowski BVSc
Born in Poland but raised in Dunedin, Hania graduated from Massey University in 2009. She took her first position as a vet in Christchurch before starting with KVC early in 2010. Hania enjoys art galleries, theatre and Wellington's Cafe culture. She also enjoys going to the gym, reading and travel. Her professional interests are internal medicine and feline medicine.












SARAH BOWYER Vet Nurse / Clinic Manager
Sarah started training in 1994 while living in Melbourne. In 2004 she came to work for KVC where she is part of the management team. Sarah has a Chocolate Labrador named Bozley and a cat called Jesse. She enjoys walking her dog, Aro Valley's cafe culture, fine wine and food, travel, reading and has a new found love of baking. She particularly enjoys the diversity of work at KVC, spending time both on reception and in the hospital.








ANNA O'KANE Vet Nurse
Anna started her training with UCOL in 2004, when she came to work for KVC. She has volunteered for the Wellington SPCA, Karori Wildlife Sanctuary and the Wellington Zoo and has worked at a wildlife refuge in South America. Anna works as a surgical nurse and has a particular interest in anaesthesia. She has a Chatham Island Terrier called Inca and a cat called Jimmy. Outside of work Anna likes mountain biking, trail running with her dog and snowboarding.













PHILLIPA ADAMS Vet Nurse
Phillipa finished her training at Massey in 2007. In 2008 she came to work for KVC. Phillipa works mainly up the front on reception, in the hospital looking after the in-patints and also helps out in the surgery. She has worked in catteries and kennels, and fosters kittens for the Cat's Protection League. She has a black Cocker Spaniel called Lexie. Phillipa enjoys walking her dog, going to the beach, music and baking.










JENN FORREST Vet Nurse
Jenn came to KVC in early 2009 to help out on reception and has a particular interest in client liason. She previsouly worked at a vet clinic in Lower Hutt before taking time out to have her son Tommy. Jenn has an Australian Cattle dog called Nala, a Labrador called Clifford and cats Asti and Fuzzy. Outside of work she is interested in German Shepherd dog showing, music and baking.
